Swords to Plowshares is a community-based, not-for-profit veteran service organization that provides wrap-around care to more than 3,000 veterans in the San Francisco Bay Area each year. Helps veterans break through the cultural, educational, psychological and economic barriers they often face in their transition to the civilian world.

LAAC has named every Dan Bradley Fellow since 2015 and every Public Interest Bar Fellow for 2026, and none of them were placed here. That is not a refusal: most California legal aid organizations have never been asked, and an organization that has never hosted a fellow can still be the first to hire you.
