Senior Legal Services
Has taken a fellow who had not passed the bar
In their own words
Low-income adults, ages 65 and older, receive a free, 30-minute consultation with an attorney experienced in the area of law they need. Regardless of age, we face legal issues with which we need help. It’s important to make sure that you have a qualified lawyer helping you. Our service is certified by the State Bar of California and approved by the American Bar Association and meets the high standards set by each. That’s why we are the trusted source to assist the public with their legal needs.

LAAC has named every Dan Bradley Fellow since 2015 and every Public Interest Bar Fellow for 2026, and none of them were placed here. That is not a refusal: most California legal aid organizations have never been asked, and an organization that has never hosted a fellow can still be the first to hire you.

This organization has not published the areas of law it practices. Nothing on this page is inferred, so those questions stay open rather than being answered with a guess.
If you work here, you can fill this in, including whether you hire law graduates before they are licensed, which is the question this whole site exists to answer.
