New American Legal Clinic (NALC)

In their own words

NALC serves people desiring to immigrate legally to the United States and provides information and counseling about their current status with the ultimate goal of attaining citizenship. NALC seeks legal status for the most vulnerable of their population: victims of violent crimes including domestic violence. NALC supports the foundation of the Central Valley, the agricultural sector, by assisting immigrants in obtaining legal status to enable lawful employment. Students from San Joaquin College of Law assist with the following issues: Naturalization Applications, Family-Based Immigrant Visas, and U-Visas.

LAAC has named every Dan Bradley Fellow since 2015 and every Public Interest Bar Fellow for 2026, and none of them were placed here. That is not a refusal: most California legal aid organizations have never been asked, and an organization that has never hosted a fellow can still be the first to hire you.

Is this your organization? Complete this page

This organization has not published whether it hires before the bar. Nothing on this page is inferred, so those questions stay open rather than being answered with a guess.

If you work here, you can fill this in, including whether you hire law graduates before they are licensed, which is the question this whole site exists to answer.
