In their own words
LAS provides free legal representation and advice, health insurance counseling, and community education to qualified Alameda County residents. LAS offers free legal services for elder abuse, guardianship of minors, public benefits, healthcare, and immigration. They host an Annual Conference on Elder Abuse each year in the spring. Founded in 1976 with the goal of protecting seniors’ legal rights in Oakland.
