In their own words

Legal Aid at Work has four main strategies for delivering services: free clinics and helplines, free legal info, litigation and public advocacy. Several areas of their work include: leaves of absence and parenting while working, gender equity & LGBT rights, racial equity and affirmative action, wage protection, unemployment insurance appeals, discrimination based on disability, immigration, language, and national origin, and workers’ rights clinics.

LAAC has named every Dan Bradley Fellow since 2015 and every Public Interest Bar Fellow for 2026, and none of them were placed here. That is not a refusal: most California legal aid organizations have never been asked, and an organization that has never hosted a fellow can still be the first to hire you.
