With a dedication to addressing equity and inclusion and being the conduit to underrepresented members of the legal community, LACBA is one of the first bar associations to have a Vice President for Diversity, Inclusion, and Outreach as well as an active Diversity in the Legal Profession Section. LACBA partners with the County of Los Angeles to administer an award-winning program providing independent defense counsel to juvenile and indigent criminal defendants. Through its Counsel for Justice 501(c)(3), the association operates four pro bono legal services projects that help thousands of residents each year.
