Community Legal Services in East Palo Alto (CLSEPA)

In their own words

Since opening its doors in September 2002, CLSEPA’s legal service programs have benefited over 10,000 community members. Today, CLSEPA provides legal assistance to over 1,500 clients annually, and its practice areas include housing, immigration, general civil litigation, and anti-predatory lending. CLSEPA is a community-based organization funded by grants and donations from foundations, law firms, legal organizations, and individuals who recognize the importance of providing the protections of the law to those who would not otherwise have them. Volunteer attorneys, paralegals, law students, and community volunteers work with dedicated staff to provide life-changing legal services to residents in need.

Gold marks a year that has already run; magenta marks this year, the one still going. A year with no mark is a year LAAC published nothing about this organization, not a year it turned anyone away.
