How a visit works

  1. Tell us your goal. Describe what you are trying to do, such as start a divorce or respond to an eviction.
  2. Get the right forms. We point you to the correct packet and the plain-language instructions that go with it.
  3. Fill it out. Review the instructions online first when possible, then use the courthouse computers if you need help preparing forms.
  4. Review and file. We check that your paperwork is complete, then you file it with the Clerk of the District Court.
