Depth-to-water from the statewide groundwater monitoring network — the wells that show how Indiana's aquifers respond to season, drought, and demand.
Reading the numbers. “Depth to water” is feet below the land surface, so a larger number means a deeper water table. Data is from USGS groundwater monitoring sites; the DNR funds and partners on much of this network, and the platform is built to fold in DNR's own well-log database during implementation.
