What that means here
What is built in
- Every page works with a keyboard alone, with a visible focus indicator on each control.
- Text meets the contrast floor against its background, and color is never the only way information is given.
- Every page declares its language, has one main heading, and puts its content inside landmarks a screen reader can jump between.
- Images carry alt text that says what matters about the picture, not the filename.
- Animation is off by default for anyone whose system asks for reduced motion.
- The primary navigation and page content work with JavaScript turned off.
- Layouts hold at a phone width without sideways scrolling.

The useful details are the page you were on, what you were trying to do, and what you use to browse. Any one of those helps; all three help most.
Documents on this site are published as PDFs with a real text layer, so they can be searched and read aloud. If you need a document in another format, ask and we will provide it.
