EARTH DAY 2025 – POSTER CONTEST THEME: COMPOSTING ELIGIBLE PARTICIPANTS Public, private, and homeschooled student in grades K to 12, residing in Caldwell, Carroll, Chariton, Daviess, Grundy, Harrison, Linn, Livingston, Mercer, Putnam, or Sullivan Counties.

SUBMISSIONS Poster size cannot exceed 11” by 17” poster board. Must complete the attached form with the student’s name, grade, school district and teacher or homeschool contact information it.

CRITERIA

Posters must be completed by April 22nd, 2025. Posters can be picked up by the District by calling 660-953-5636 ext. 24.

NMSWMD will select a 1st and 2nd place poster from each grade group in each county (unless grades are combined due to low numbers). Copies will be displayed within our District and at collection events.

Message – 50%

INITIATIVE Reducing, Reusing, and Recycling helps conserve our Natural Resources.

Winners will receive a gift and a certificate from the District in recognition of their achievement.
