Business Licenses

A business license

Every business operating inside the city limits has to hold a local business license.

A business in a commercial building has to schedule a Fire and Life Safety Inspection first. Every code violation has to be corrected before a new license is issued. The inspection fee is $50, paid to the Building and Codes Department at City Hall before the inspection.

Print the business license application and submit it to Business License, attention Diane Qualls, 1517 Tombras Avenue, East Ridge, TN 37412.

A solicitor's permit

Under Ordinance 978, anyone going door to door has to hold a Solicitor's Permit. Fill in the application at City Hall, or print it, complete it, and bring it in.
