A state certified animal control agency and the City shelter, at 5302 Stone Street. Emergencies are answered 24 hours a day, every day of the year.

Services
- Investigates reports of animal abuse and neglect
- Brings cases of animal cruelty to prosecution

- Operates the City of East Ridge Animal Shelter
The shelter houses stray, abused, and neglected companion animals. The division works closely with local veterinarians and animal rescue organizations, and it runs a rabies clinic on published dates.

To see the animals available now, call (423) 468-1432. The City runs a separate Animal Services website and Facebook page where adoptable pets are posted.
