The barn, built in 1930, was once home to livestock but had not been truly used or maintained for decades. Deciding to save the structure, we started by replacing the siding and the roof. Slowly but surely, a vision to create a unique and – yes, spectacular – space took root. With some trepidation we embarked on a two-year renovation journey, transforming the barn into a living space.

We channeled resources and a ton of creative energy into the barn’s design and construction. Gregg is all about details; with resourcefulness and a discerning eye, he sourced materials from eBay, Craigslist, and local auctions, giving the barn its distinctive character.

Over the past 12 years, we’ve welcomed hundreds of guests to our barn and farmhouse suite, having created lovely spaces to relax and cocoon &/or a logistically sweet spot from which to adventure out into the Hudson Valley. We’re passionate about providing a welcoming atmosphere while sharing our love of this special place with others.
