Public parks belong to everyone, and so should the website. This site is built to WCAG 2.2 AA, and we test it, not just claim it.

Zero automated violations, verified
Every page here passes an automated axe-core scan for WCAG 2.0, 2.1, and 2.2 A and AA, with zero violations. Accessibility is designed in from the first line, not bolted on at the end.
Color contrast
PassAll text and controls meet or exceed WCAG 2.2 AA contrast.
Keyboard & focus
PassEvery menu, filter, and the search box is fully keyboard-operable with visible focus.
Screen readers
PassLandmarks, headings, labels, and ARIA on the search combobox and status chips.
Status without color
PassConditions use an icon and a word, never color alone.
Motion
PassEvery animation honors prefers-reduced-motion.
We audited the county’s current sites, too
As part of this proposal we ran the same automated scan across representative pages of the county’s current parks presence. The full findings, and how the new site resolves each one, are in our written proposal to Clay County. Automated overlay widgets don’t fix the underlying code; building it accessibly does.
