Public parks belong to everyone, and so should the parks website. It is built and tested to WCAG 2.2 AA.
Our commitment
Every page passes an automated scan for WCAG 2.0, 2.1, and 2.2 at levels A and AA, with zero violations. Automated scans catch a lot but not everything, so we also fix what visitors report.
Color contrast
PassText and controls meet WCAG 2.2 AA contrast.
Keyboard & focus
PassEvery menu, filter, and the search box works from the keyboard, with a visible focus ring.
Screen readers
PassScreen readers get landmarks, headings, labels, and ARIA on the search box and the status chips.
Status without color
PassLake conditions show an icon and a word, never color alone.
Motion
PassEvery animation honors the reduced-motion setting.
Report a barrier
If anything on this site is hard to use with a keyboard, a screen reader, or magnification, tell us. Reports go to the Park Office and are tracked until the barrier is fixed.
