From the Chief

“On behalf of the men and women of the Chilhowie Police Department: Welcome to our website! Thank you for taking time to familiarize yourself with our organization.

I have been fortunate to serve the public for the past twenty- six years and was honored to be chosen as the Town of Chilhowie’s Chief of Police in January of 2021. Being from this area I was already aware of the strong sense of community Chilhowie possessed and I believe that in order for a department to address community problems they must work in partnership with its citizens. CPD will work to form and strengthen our relationships in the community and as your chief of police, I will always listen to your needs and strive to be open and honest with members of the community as well as the men and women with whom I serve.

I encourage you to contact me with ideas you may have on how our department can better serve the town and welcome all comments and complaints as well. Feel free to stop by my office at 325 E. Lee Highway in the upper lever of the Chilhowie Municipal Building. I look forward to serving the citizens of Chilhowie and look forward to getting to know those we serve.” – Andrew Moss, Chilhowie Chief of Police
