TFCF x BBOP: The Festive Reminder of What Matters Most

Time for Change Foundation and BBOP Center staff together at a holiday gathering, gift bags in hand

We threw our Time for Change Foundation x BBOP Christmas party, and honestly? It was exactly what we needed before the year closes out. Three of our board members showed up: Keisha Murphy, James Calderilla, and Julie Jansen, and we spent the afternoon doing what entrepreneurs rarely permit themselves to do: celebrate without an agenda. The Food, The Games, The Vibe Ms. Rose from Element of Taste catered, and if you haven't tried her food yet, you're missing out. She's one of our BBOP entrepreneurs, and watching her serve the people who've been cheering her on? That's the full circle moment we're here for. We played games. We did a white elephant exchange (competitive, as expected). We laughed. We took a breath. Why This Matters Here's the thing: community isn't just a marketing word we throw around. It's the actual people who show up when you're building something hard. It's the board members who give their time. It's the entrepreneurs who feed each other, literally. It's a reminder that you're not doing this alone. That's what this party was. A reminder that we're building something bigger than individual businesses. We're building a network, a safety net, a community that shows up. See you in 2026. We've got work to do.
