The portal is built to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA, for everyone who files with AUSAC or works for it.
What that means here
- Every screen works with a keyboard alone, with a visible focus outline, and the worksheet moves from line to line with Enter.
- Each field has its own label, and the portal's messages (a missing figure, a line to explain, a receipt) are announced to screen readers.
- Charts and the month-end board say in words what they show.
- Text and controls meet the AA contrast ratios, and the portal works at 400% zoom and on a phone.
- Nothing depends on color alone: a late company's lamp is dark and notched as well as named.
