In its ongoing commitment to provide exceptional customer service, the West Chester Fire Department is moving its Commercial Plan Review application process online.
The West Chester Fire Department Loss Prevention Bureau reviews construction documents for all new commercial construction in the Township and provides regulatory comments to ensure compliance with applicable fire / building safety codes.
Beginning March 1, 2025, applications will only be accepted online. Up until 4:00 p.m. on Friday, February 28, customers may choose to either submit applications online or in person at West Chester Fire Department, Fire Headquarters, 9119 Cincinnati Dayton Road.
In 2023, the West Chester Community Development Department successfully moved its Zoning Permit application process online with overwhelmingly positive reviews from the public. The new online West Chester Fire Department Commercial Plan Review application form is built on this same user-friendly platform.
There remain no fees associated with West Chester Fire Department Commercial Plan Review applications. Submit directly to West Chester Fire Department at www.WestChesterOH.org/FirePlans.
The West Chester Fire Department Fire Protection Plan Review application is required for systems like fire sprinkler and fire alarm system installation / alterations, underground fire protection, hood fire suppression, clean agent fire suppression systems, etc.
