Rumpke Waste & Recycling will include free recycling service for all West Chester customers when its new preferred pricing plan goes into effect March 1, 2025.
The new rate of $23.25 per month includes weekly collection of up to six 30-gallon trash cans or bags, or two Rumpke 95-gallon trash; and weekly curbside recycling collection with the use of a Rumpke 18-gallon bin or Rumpke 65-gallon cart. An additional fuel surcharge will be billed quarterly.
All residents can expect to receive a mailer from Rumpke outlining the details of the new preferred pricing model. Rumpke will automatically update rates and new service for existing customers starting March 1, 2025. Existing customers who don’t already use recycling services should request a recycling container from Rumpke.
The new Rumpke combined trash and recycling preferred pricing plan sets the monthly rate at $23.25 for one year. West Chester residents and HOAs may continue to contract with the waste hauler of their choice. If choosing Rumpke, no discount is available for those who don’t take advantage of the free curbside recycling service now included at the above rate.
