Friends, Food & Fun for Seniors

Come for the food, stay for the fellowship!

Did you know our local library offers weekly meals and camaraderie to residents ages 60 and older every Friday, all at no cost to individuals who RSVP?

The Friends, Food & Fun for Seniors program is free but registration is required. Friday get-togethers are 10:00 a.m. to 1:45 p.m. at MidPointe Library West Chester, 9363 Centre Pointe Drive. Lunch includes programming, activities and opportunities to socialize.

Space is limited. Call the library at (513) 424-1251 to make a reservation, or reserve your seat online.

To register online, go to the MidPointe Library programs calendar and choose your date. The online registration period is open one week in advance, until full.

MidPointe Library now offers free, weekly lunch programs to Butler County senior citizens in Trenton on Wednesdays and Monroe on Thursdays, too. Likewise, advanced registration is required for these similar programs.

Best Places to Live

West Chester Township is a community with heart!

Did you hear our community was ranked 13th on Fortune Magazine’s “50 Best Places to Live for Families” in 2023. The rankings evaluated nearly 1,900 cities by analyzing more than 200,000 unique data points across five broad categories – Education, Aging Resources, General Wellness, Financial Health and Livability.

“A community spirit binds residents together in this small Ohio town, fostered by organizations that give back to those most in need,” writes the reviewers at Fortune WELL, a subsidiary of the magazine.

Things like low cost of living and terrific access to amenities were among top factors in West Chester’s excellent rating as the best place to raise a family in the state of Ohio.
