Viewers have new, convenient ways to watch West Chester TV!
WCTV is now available on Roku, Amazon Fire TV and via the WCTV mobile app for both iOS and Android. Programming is also broadcast to Spectrum customers on public access channels 4, 8, 15 and 24 (or 5.11, 5.12 and 5.13 with a QAM TV tuner).
West Chester TV programming includes public meetings, local high school sports, community briefing bulletins from police and fire and more. Lakota Local Schools, MidPointe Library, MetroParks of Butler County and the Butler County Visitors Bureau will also have programming available to watch on WCTV.
West Chester Township receives funding from Spectrum and altafiber for private utility use of the public right-of-way. This is a fee payment (per video subscriber) initiated by federal and state legislation in the early 1990s. Communities throughout the region and across the country receive this funding. In West Chester Township, the funding is directed to transparency initiatives and public outreach programming.
West Chester TV will expand programming over the next year to include even more news and information from our community, as well as feature programs highlighting things to do in the area, the arts, sports, interesting people, business news and much more.
“The Township is focused on reaching out to the community in every available way,” said Barbara Wilson, director of West Chester’s Public Information and Engagement Department.
To enhance accessibility of programming, closed captioning is also available for select broadcasts.
As always, watch WCTV programs for free and on demand through YouTube and Vimeo.

Lights, camera, action!
West Chester TV seeks volunteers to run camera at Lakota high school sporting events. WCTV takes its state-of-the-art broadcast television production truck on the road to cover a number of games and matches all year, and crews couldn’t do it without help and support from community members, like you.
No experience is necessary and all equipment is provided. Volunteers earn entry to events at no cost. Camera operators may also be asked to assist with some pre-event setup and post-game teardown.
