Our mission

Choice and dignity, in the communities where people already live.

To provide seniors and their caregivers with access to programs and services so they may live their lives with choice and dignity in their communities.

We serve residents of Chesapeake, Franklin, Norfolk, Portsmouth, Suffolk, Virginia Beach, Isle of Wight, and Southampton: adults 60 and older looking for services that maintain or improve their quality of life, and the family members and caregivers who support them.

Advocacy

We speak up for seniors, not just serve them.

Senior Services staff, advisory council members, and board members take part in statewide and regional coalitions on aging, and raise issues affecting older adults before the Virginia General Assembly.
