Ron Polomchak, Director   Our full symphony orchestra for advanced youth players through high school. NEWS: This year, Schaumburg Youth Concert Orchestra will be combining into Schaumburg Youth Symphony Orchestra with Director Ron Polomchak.

REHEARSALS 
Sundays, 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. beginning Sunday, September 13.

PERFORMANCES 

• Sun Oct 25, 2026 at 1pm Halloween Concert
• Sat Dec 19, 2026 at 1pm and 5pm Presto! Holiday Concert 
• Sat Apr 17, 2027 at 7:30pm Colors of the Wind Concert 
• Sun May 2, 2027 at 4pm Spring Concert

PLEASE NOTE:

• All SYO members participate in their school orchestra or band programs where available.
• Orchestra placement is at the discretion of the director.

SYSO Tuition

• Tuition for the 2026-27 season is $500.
• Installment plans, Financial Assistance, and Scholarships available.
• Tuition includes a $25 family donation to Al Larson Cultural Center Foundation (only one donation per family).
• Families with more than one child enrolled in the program receive a $25 discount for each additional child after on child is paid in full. 
• All members receive an SYO t-shirt
