Village Square Courts
DESCRIPTION: At its February 9 meeting, Council discussed the proposed concepts for the Village Square Courts and expressed a preference for a balanced, community-scaled approach that combines court usage while retaining tennis as an available option. Feedback supported consolidating tennis and pickleball into a flexible multi-use court, with a shuffleboard court located adjacent to the court area. Council emphasized minimizing noise impacts, preserving green space, and avoiding an expanded or intensive multi-court facility. An adjustable net system was identified as a desirable feature, and overall feedback aligned most closely with concept #5.
