Purchase of 2026 GMC Sierra 3500HD Pickup Truck

DESCRIPTION: Public Works is seeking approval to purchase a new 2026 GMC Sierra 3500HD Regular Cab 4x4 SRW Pro Pickup under the State of Michigan MiDeal Contract from Todd Wenzel Buick GMC of Westland, Michigan. This vehicle will replace an aging Public Works truck (truck #2) that has reached the end of its service life and is no longer cost-effective to maintain. Truck #2 is a 2014 GMC 2500 with 62,615 miles. The new pickup will be equipped for heavy-duty use and include a liftgate.
