Riverine Community Resilience Challenge II
Sourcing near-term, deployable solutions that reduce riverine and inland flooding risk for Virginia communities.
Overview
What we’re looking for
Inland and riverine flooding threatens public safety, property, and economic vitality across Virginia. This challenge seeks innovations that can be piloted in the near term: sensing and forecasting, nature-based infrastructure, community-scale risk tools, and financing models that move from idea to demonstrable impact quickly.
Selected teams gain access to funding, mentorship, and Virginia living-laboratory sites where solutions can be tested, validated, and demonstrated alongside community and agency partners.
