Missouri Technology Corporation is a public-private partnership created by the Missouri General Assembly to promote entrepreneurship and foster new and emerging high-technology companies.

MTC is governed by a board of directors appointed by Missouri's Governor, Speaker of the House, and President Pro Tem of the Senate. The President of the University of Missouri System and the Director of the Department of Economic Development serve as ex officio members.
Its programs connect state appropriations and federal funds with private co-investment, competitive grants, published board decisions, and public reporting.

Executive leadership
Travis Fitzwater, Executive Director
MTC announced Fitzwater's appointment on February 23, 2026. He leads the organization's work with entrepreneurs, investors, universities, regional partners, and public stakeholders across Missouri.
