USSTRATCOM Welcomes US European Security Issues IVLP

USSTRATCOM Welcomes US European Security Issues IVLP This project gave participants a better understanding of U.S. security and defense policies and provided an American perspective on key security challenges that the United States and European countries jointly face. The project examined the roles of NATO, the EU, the UN, and other international organizations and multilateral fora in addressing security threats. Participants spoke to experts with a wide range of perspectives on shared challenges such as energy security, non-proliferation, missile defense, counterterrorism, regional and ethnic conflict, homeland security, Russian expansionism, unrest in the Middle East, and the Transatlantic security architecture.
