Puru P. Trivedi

Puru Trivedi Senior Vice President @ Meridian Puru Trivedi serves as Senior Vice President at Meridian International Center, where he spearheads the organization’s global initiatives, overseeing a team of 34 professionals in corporate affairs, policy programs, revenue operations, board relations, and communications. He provides strategic vision for advancing Meridian’s non-U.S. government portfolio and drives impactful cross-border collaborations that strengthen international partnerships and corporate diplomacy.

Before joining Meridian, Puru built a career spanning financial services, policy advocacy, and global consulting. As Head of Services to Government at APCO Worldwide South Asia, he shaped high-level strategic engagements with numerous state governments in India. As Deputy Country Director for the U.S. Chamber of Commerce’s U.S.-India Business Council in New Delhi, he championed the policy priorities of major U.S. corporations to the Government of India.

Earlier, Puru honed his financial expertise in private equity roles at State Street in Boston and Fimeris/Fidequity in London, following formative positions at Salomon Smith Barney Citigroup in Manhattan and Bank of America Private Bank in Boston. Puru holds non-executive board positions at the International Student House DC, Center for Latin American Convergence, and the U.S.-Mexico Foundation. He has served on the boards of Atlas Corps, the UN Association of the National Capital Region, and the FiscalNote Executive Institute.

He also serves as an Advisor to the executive team at Trustible.AI, contributing his insights to cutting-edge initiatives in artificial intelligence regulation. Puru’s thought leadership extends to his published works in outlets such as The Diplomatic Courier, The Washington Diplomat, and Modern Diplomacy EU, where he frequently provides expert commentary on U.S.-South Asia relations. He is the author of ‘My Fourth Culture’, awarded as a top 10 2-hour biography on Amazon Kindle store.

Puru earned a B.Sc. in Finance from Boston University’s School of Management and an MBA from Babson College’s Olin Graduate School of Business. Fluent in Hindi and conversant in Spanish, he brings a global perspective shaped by living, working, and studying in Saudi Arabia, England, China, United State and India. Having traveled to over 73 countries, Puru’s cross-cultural fluency informs his leadership and work. Originally from the Greater Boston Area, Puru resides in Washington, D.C., with his wife, Kriti Doval, and their daughter.
