Redesign concept. Built by Stoa to show what a modern, accessible Louisville Zoo website could be. It is not the Zoo's official site, which remains at louisvillezoo.org.

Note for reviewers

The Zoo uses date-based (dynamic) pricing, so a single fixed number would be misleading; this concept shows the published ranges and the "from" price. On the live site, the Buy tickets button connects to the Zoo's existing Accesso ticketing and webstore, which this rebuild integrates with rather than replaces. The button above points to the Zoo's current ticketing page as a stand-in.

Sensory inclusion

The Zoo is a KultureCity sensory-inclusive venue, with sensory bags, a quiet space, and a sensory guide to help guests plan a comfortable visit.

On this website

Good to know

Frequently asked

Are tickets cheaper online?

Buying online ahead of your visit is the easiest way to skip the line, and admission is date-priced, so midweek and off-peak days are typically lower.

Do members pay for parking?

General admission is free for members all year. Parking is a separate $7 per vehicle for all guests.

Is the Zoo open in winter?

Yes. The Zoo is open daily year-round (closed Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's Day), with winter hours of 10 a.m.–4 p.m.

Can I bring a stroller or wheelchair?

Yes, and rentals are available near the entrance while supplies last. The main paths are paved and stroller-friendly.
