Our story
Tuition-free public charter, built to transform STEM
GREEN Charter Schools opened in fall 2013 with a mission to be the only Southeast K–12 schools specializing in STEM and renewable energy education. Since then, we've grown to seven campuses across South Carolina, serving 2,200+ students with a 100% graduation rate.
As a public charter school, we're tuition-free and open to all students through a fair lottery process. We believe that every student has the potential to innovate and impact the world. Our approach pairs personalized instruction with real-world projects, where students discover autonomy, mastery, and purpose—not just test scores.
Today, GREEN students are solving real problems in renewable energy and sustainability while building the critical thinking and collaborative skills they need for whatever comes next.
