Accessibility

A website that works for the whole crowd.

The delivery target is WCAG 2.2 AA, above the solicitation’s stated WCAG 2.1 AA floor.

Built into the system

The interface uses semantic landmarks, visible focus, keyboard-operable controls, high-contrast text, reduced-motion support, descriptive alternatives for meaningful images, clear empty states, and complete text results for the event-planning tool.

Content operations matter too

The WordPress approach pairs accessible templates with editorial guardrails: heading and link checks, required image alternatives, scheduled accessibility scans, and role-based review before publishing.

Need another format?

The County-approved accessibility contact and accommodation process will publish once those details are confirmed. Until then, review Graham Park information or contact and inquiry options.

Verification status

The current build is tested with automated WCAG rules and keyboard/browser review. Automated testing supports, but does not replace, manual review with assistive technology and people with disabilities.
