The City of Chillicothe is proposing the demolition of 18 residential structures and 1 commercial structure within the city limit boundary. CDBG funds will be used for Demolition, Asbestos Inspection, Asbestos Abatement and Administration Activities. The City of Chillicothe will provide funds to assist with demolition costs, perform all demolition inspections and specifications and seed and mulch the lots after units have been removed. All demolition debris and any abated asbestos materials will be transported to the appropriate landfills. The following activities have been determined Exempt in accordance with 24 CFR 58.34. List all exempt activities by all funding sources.
Demolition Inspection - $7,650.00 City of Chillicothe will perform inspections as in-kind match. Administration - $19,020.00, Green Hills Regional Planning Commission has been procured to perform administration services. This services will be paid for with CDBG funds. Asbestos Inspection - $7,500. Services have been procured and will be paid for with CDBG funds.
