Who we are
Since 1991, Family League of Baltimore has served as the City of Baltimore's designated Local Management Board.
Family League works collaboratively to support data-informed, community-driven solutions that align resources to dismantle the systemic barriers that limit the possibilities for children, families, and communities.
As a careful steward of funds awarded by the City, the State of Maryland, and federal and private entities, Family League braids its resources together to maximize the impact of every dollar invested. We do this work as a convener, an implementation lead, and a partner across many collaborative spaces in Baltimore.
How we work
- Convener. We bring partners, funders, and agencies to the same table around shared results.
- Implementation lead. We translate strategy into coordinated, measurable programs.
- Grantmaker. We move resources to community partners through FUNDINGtrack, our grants management system.
Leadership & governance. Family League is guided by a President & CEO, a cross-functional staff team, and a board of directors. Specific leadership names are omitted in this concept prototype; the live redesign would feature the current team and bios.
Financials & transparency
Family League publishes annual reports and audited financials, and holds Candid (GuideStar) Platinum recognition. The redesigned site keeps these documents one click from the homepage so funders and partners can verify stewardship quickly. Document links are represented for demonstration.
