Meat Inferno is a Kansas City Barbeque Society sanctioned event that is held annually the first full weekend in October. BBQ teams from across the country travel to Edgerton for their share of a $10,000 purse. There is also a Kids Q and community backyard barbeque contest. Edgerton families celebrate the beginning of summer at this festive party at Martin Creek Park. With inflatables, face painting, ice cream, and a dance party, this event bring people together from across our community. Become the Big E sponsor for $1,500.
The Community Picnic and Fireworks Show is the largest event of the year in Edgerton. Family fun activities, yard games, and a free community picnic are available at Martin Creek Park. Once it's dark, fireworks light up the night sky as patriotic music plays. This event is held annually on July 3. Become the Big E Sponsor for $3,000.
Senior Lunch & BINGO
Every third Wednesday, the Edgerton Senior Committee hosts Senior Lunch & BINGO in Community Hall. Your generous donation pays for the entrée. Sponsors are invited to give a short presentation to the Seniors before lunch. Typical attendance is between 30-60 people. This is a great opportunity for sponsors to connect with Edgerton's 50+ residents. A sponsorship for one month is $600.
