Adventures with Grassman

Sightings of Grassman, Ohio's legendary Bigfoot, are on the rise in our area! Rumor has it he is searching for butterflies in the neighborhood parks before they start their overwintering phase. Can you find Grassman in each park and help him say bye to the butterflies?

Sign up for this free program, and in October we will send you a clue each Thursday to find Grassman in one of your 51 parks! When you find him, you will also learn about a native butterfly! Scan the QR code to log your Grassman sighting. Each time you find Grassman and log the sighting, that is another entry into our raffle for a fun Grassman/butterfly combo prize bag! 4 winners will be selected. This is a Tools to Trek Program.

• Clues will be emailed weekly on Thursday at 1 pm and also posted here. Make sure your email information is up to date in our system. Grassman will be well hidden! Prepare for a hike!
• This Week's Clue:
• This park has a very unique habitat that is accessible with natural paths and a boardwalk! Grassman loves wandering the 4.724 acres to observe the rich soil and the wildlife that benefits from it. He is hunting for a specific butterfly that uses locust trees as their host plant. We hope you have a fen-tastic time searching for Grassman!
• Grassman will move every Thursday morning. You will have until Wednesday end of day of the following week to locate him.
• Raffle Winners will be contacted by November 4.

• There will be one Tools to Trek Password issued for the entirety of the program. Write the password in one of the boxes on your Tools to Trek Brochure!
• Please register each participating member of your household.
• You do not need to find Grassman every week to participate. Each time you find him is another raffle entry,
• Program and camp cancellations made seven days prior to the start date will receive a full refund in the form of household credit or refund to the original payment method. Those cancellations made less than seven days prior to the program date will be offered a 50% refund in the form of a household credit. Cancellations made during or after the program are not eligible for a refund. Exceptions to this policy can be made at the discretion of the Program Manager.
