Capital Region Classical at Tannery Pond

Our mission is to present chamber music performances by internationally renowned musicians and selected talented young artists to deepen the public’s connection to classical music. Performances are held between May and September. Here you will find the intimacy of a true chamber music environment without long lines or crowded parking lots.

The Tannery, built by the Shakers in 1834, is a renovated barn-like structure of warmly resonant wood with excellent acoustics. Its size fosters an intimate and interactive relationship between audience and artists. The Tannery is located on the grounds of the Mount Lebanon Shaker Village and the Darrow School, 110 Darrow Road, New Lebanon, NY 12125.
