La Semilla Food Center is a nonprofit founded in 2010 and based in Anthony, New Mexico, working toward a healthy, self-reliant, fair, and sustainable food system in the Paso del Norte region spanning southern New Mexico and far west Texas. Its work spans hands-on farming and produce distribution, food and agriculture education for youth and community members, food-systems policy advocacy, and storytelling/narrative projects rooted in local culture.
