Educators Rising is a national, community-based educator-pathways movement operating under PDK International, in which student chapters at K-12 schools connect into teacher preparation programs at higher-education institutions, supported by state departments of education and local funders. Its stated vision is to help eliminate the teacher shortage by reimagining pathways into the profession, and its mission is to inspire and grow current and rising educators as community leaders and advocates for high-quality education. The organization operates through a network of state affiliates, national conferences, curriculum resources, and professional development offerings rather than through a single regional office.
