About

ABC Community School Partnership is a Joint Powers Agreement established in 2007 among Albuquerque Public Schools, the City of Albuquerque, Bernalillo County, and United Way of Central New Mexico (later joined by additional partners), organized to develop community schools that combine academics, health services, social services, community engagement, and leadership development. Its stated mission is to promote the holistic well-being and success of students, families, and community members by developing community schools, aligning resources, transforming systems, and facilitating community self-determination. The partnership has grown from four initial schools to 75 community schools across Bernalillo County and Albuquerque Public Schools as of 2025, serving roughly 26,239 students, and reports having mobilized $10.8 million in partnerships and resources in 2024-2025.
