About this resource

The agenda is built on two foundations: equity principles and equity actions. From there, it names nine priorities the coalition brings to the Roundhouse each legislative session:

  • Community schools
  • Funding for equity initiatives
  • Equitable educator compensation
  • Tribal sovereignty in education (tribal regalia, tribal-state compacts)
  • Seclusion and restraint
  • Teen mental health
  • Literacy across languages
  • Juvenile justice (restorative justice)
  • Universal school meals (farm-to-school)
