Pigeon Forge Residential Convenience Center to Close for Renovations Starting September 1st
The Pigeon Forge Residential Convenience Center, located at 447 Tiger Drive, will temporarily close for renovations beginning Sunday, September 1st, 2024. The last day of operation before the closure will be Saturday, August 31st, 2024.
This renovation is part of a comprehensive master plan developed by the Sevier County Board of Commissioners to enhance the functionality and efficiency of all County-operated Convenience Centers. The upgrades will improve operations at each site, ensuring better service and convenience for Sevier County residents.
During the renovation, Sevier County residents who typically use the Pigeon Forge location are encouraged to use any other County Residential Convenience Center. The White School Residential Convenience Center (705 White School Road) and the Center View Multipurpose Convenience Center (951 Center View Road) are the closest available sites located near the Pigeon Forge site on Tiger Drive.
To accommodate the increase in users of the White School site, an additional compactor will be added there, as well as, a demo container and metal container.
The estimated time for the completion of the renovation is approximately 8 weeks, pending weather. More information on the reopening date will be released when it becomes available.
