Good to know

Burn permits are issued free of charge by the Tennessee Division of Forestry and are available online at www.BurnSafeTN.org or through the MyTN mobile app.

Residents without internet access may request a permit by calling 877-350-BURN (2876) Monday through Friday between 9:00 AM and 5:30 PM Eastern.

Residents who live within city limits should contact their municipality before burning, as local regulations and permitting requirements may differ.
