Mission
To protect and enhance the fishing rights reserved by the Tribe in its treaties with the United States, through the restoration of Columbia Basin salmon and steelhead across the Snake River Basin.

Resident Fish
Stewardship of bull trout, lamprey, and other resident species in reservation and ceded waters.

Habitat restoration and effectiveness monitoring that rebuilds the cold, clean streams salmon need to spawn.

North-central Idaho, northeastern Oregon, southeastern Washington
Across the Clearwater, Salmon, Grande Ronde, and Imnaha drainages, DFRM is one of the largest Tribal fisheries programs in the country. This portal is where its monitoring becomes public.
