Master Plan Update for Downtown Streetscape

The 2026 Downtown Streetscape Plan was approved by the Tecumseh Downtown Development Authority on Thursday, May 14, and adopted by Tecumseh's City Council on Monday, May 18, 2026.

The Tecumseh Downtown Development Authority began preparing for the Master Plan update in March 2025, when they went out to bid, and selected Jones Petrie Rafinski in May 2025, to oversee the master plan update. The yearlong project included monthly meetings with city staff and DDA steering committee members, public stakeholder meetings, public workshops and surveys.
