A day downtown

On Saturday, November 21, from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM, downtown Tecumseh will come together to support neighbors in need while enjoying a festive day of shopping, connection, and holiday inspiration.

Donations and the Thanksgiving giveaway

Throughout the event, we will be collecting non-perishable food items, as well as hats, gloves, and scarves to help local families during the colder months. Convenient donation containers will be available downtown during the event. As a special highlight, one lucky participant will win a complete Thanksgiving dinner. Raffle tickets for this giveaway will be distributed by participating merchants to customers who make a purchase at their business on the day of the event.

Community organizations and the Recipe Walk

Adding to the day’s experience, charitable organizations are invited to take part by hosting booths or participating in other ways, offering valuable exposure and educational opportunities for the community. The beloved Annual Recipe Walk will also be featured, showcasing Thanksgiving and holiday-inspired recipes from participating businesses.

Streetscape lighting at 6 p.m.

At 6:00 PM, gather downtown for the Annual Streetscape Lighting Ceremony as we illuminate the streets and officially welcome the holiday season. Stay and experience the charm of downtown Tecumseh as local merchants keep their doors open late, making it the perfect evening to shop, dine, and celebrate with family and friends. Come gather with us, give back to the community, and celebrate the joy of the season together.
