The traveling experience
What it is
The mobile museum brings hands-on STEM career exhibits to schools, libraries, and community events across Bay and Arenac counties, so a class that cannot load a bus still gets the experience. Alongside it, STEM kits can be borrowed and used in a classroom or at home.
Exhibit lineups, availability, and the current kit catalog come from Bay-Arenac ISD. They are published here as the District provides them, and each one is tagged by career cluster and grade band so it turns up in search alongside everything else on the hub. To ask what is available right now, call the number below.
Getting started
How to request a visit
Four steps, one phone call to start. Most of the work is on our side.
- Ask what is available Call to find out which exhibits and kits are free on the dates you have in mind.
- Submit a request Tell us about your event, your audience size, and which exhibit interests you most.
- Confirm a date We work with you to pick the best time and sort out the logistics of getting there.
- Receive the kit and guide The exhibit arrives with all materials and a facilitation guide: learning objectives, talking points, and the careers each station connects to.

Hands-on at home or in class
STEM kits you can check out
Checkout kits pair equipment with lesson cards and a careers insert, so the activity connects to the people who do that work for a living. Educators borrow them for a unit; families can borrow them too.
